I've made bushwalking maps for all ages, levels of fitness, and experience... and for dog walkers too.

 

Download a map from the CHOOSE A MAP page or the LOCATE A MAP PAGE. Maps will open in the Avenza Maps app, which can be downloaded free from the APP STORE or GOOGLE PLAY. Using the Avenza Maps app, you will be able to see your position on the map at all times when viewed on your mobile device - even when out of mobile range.

 

Walk difficulty ratings are explained below. Use them as a guide only. Those new to bushwalking should start on the lower grades and work their way up.

WALK DIFFICULTY RATINGS

 

Walk difficulty ratings are a guide only. Those new to bushwalking should start on the lower grades and work their way up.

1 - Very easy/access friendly

Recommended for all ages, any level of fitness, and no bushwalking experience; also for those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

1.5 - Very easy

Recommended for all ages, any level of fitness, and no bushwalking experience. Those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams may find the going rough.

 

2 - Easy

Recommended for adults, teens, and older children (7+ years) with a basic level of fitness and bushwalking experience; also younger children with a high level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

 

2.5 - Easy to slightly challenging

Recommended for adults and teens with a basic level of fitness and bushwalking experience, and older children (7+ years) with a moderate level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for younger children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

 

3 - Slightly challenging

Recommended for adults and teens with a moderate level of fitness and bushwalking experience; also older children (7+ years) with a high level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for younger children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

3.5 - Slightly challenging to challenging

Recommended for adults and teens with a moderate level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

4 - Challenging​ 

Recommended for adults and older teens (16+ years) with a moderate level of fitness and bushwalking experience; also younger teens with a high level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

 

4.5 - Challenging to very challenging

Adult and older teens (16+ years) with a high level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for younger teens, children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.

 

5 - Very challenging

Adult and older teens (16+ years) with an exceptional level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not recommended for younger teens, children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.
